Xylavet® 2% is indicated as a sedative with analgesic and muscle relaxant properties for use in cattle, horses, dogs and cats. Xylavet® 2% is also used as a premedication to barbiturate anaesthesia, or in combination with regional or local anaesthesia for painful surgical procedures. In the dog and cat, analgesia may not be adequate for very painful procedures, particularly in the extremities. In the horse, analgesia is limited and individually variable.

Dip for angora goats and spray for pigs. Kills sheep scab mites, lice, keds, blowfly larvae and controls ticks present at time of dipping and itch mites on sheep and goats. Does not protect against blowfly strike. Controls Karoo Paralysis ticks. Kills pig mange mites.
