INDICATIONS

• For the control of ticks
• Kills cattle lice
• Controls African face flies
• Controls other nuisance and biting flies on cattle e.g.
  • Stable flies
  • House flies
  • Cattle louse flies
  • Black flies
  • Hornflies
• Controls screw-worm infestations
• Kills ostrich feather lice
• For the control of Rhipicephalus spp. and Haemaphysalis leachi  ticks on dogs.
• for the control of Amblyoma hebraeum , Rhipicephalus appeniculatus and Rhicephalus simus ticks on horses
• for the control of Stomoxys spp. and Musca spp flies on horses

COMPOSITION
Contains:  Deltamethrin 25 % m/m

WARNINGS

• Withdrawal period: None
• Poisonous by swallowing and inhalation.
• Toxic to bees, other insects and fish.
• Store tablets in safe place, away from food and feed.
• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and pets.
• Avoid skin contact with tablets or dipwash, which may cause irritation.
  In case of accidental skin contamination, wash skin immediately thoroughly with soap and hot water.
• In case of accidental eye contact, flush eyes with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes.
• Remove and wash contaminated clothing.
• Avoid breathing spray mist.
• In case of poisoning call a doctor and make this label available to him.
  Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not mix with any other spray.
• Use on healthy dogs only.
• Use gloves when wetting dog.
• Discard any unused dip.
• Wash hands thoroughly before eating, drinking or smoking.
• Prevent contamination of food, utensils, drinking water, rivers, dams, grazing, etc.
• Destroy empty containers completely by flattening and never re-use for any other purpose.
• Clean applicator, receptacles, etc. thoroughly before re-using for other materials.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE : USE ONLY AS DIRECTED

CATTLE
Premix concentrate by adding tablet to 5ℓ water, stirring continuously.  Add diluted concentrate to 7,5ℓ water in back-pack, stirring continuously.   The dip mixture is now ready for hand spraying.
When hand spraying, ensure thorough wetting of animals using 12,5ℓ per adult animal.  Spray against lie of hair.

Dilution
Spraying - dilute as follows:
1 X 2,5 g Deltab to 12,5 litres of water.

HORSES
Dilute as for cattle.
Pour dip into hand sprayer. Direct the spray upwards and forwards, against the lie of the hair, starting at the feet and working up to the dorsal midline until the animal is thoroughly wetted.

OSTRICH
Dilute as for cattle.
Spray birds until run-off. 
Use 1 X 2,5 g Deltab tablet per 12,5ℓ water.

DOGS
Dilute 1 tablet  in 15ℓ water. Thoroughly wet dog with dip. Allow dog
to dry naturally. Prepare a new dip for each dog.

FREQUENCY OF USE

1. Intensive control of ticks and flies
   When used as directed at weekly intervals it will provide intensive control of  ticks and flies. All animals should be treated and interruption of the  programme should be avoided.
2. Extended treatment intervals
   Under circumstances of low tick or fly challenge it may be used, at the user’s discretion, at intervals greater than 7 days. In these circumstances, users are advised to make use of relevant vaccines to obtain optimal protection of their cattle against prevalent tick-borne diseases.
3. Lice
   For control and prevention of lice, use two treatments with a three week interval.  Annual preventative dipping is recommended.
4. Tick and Fly control in Horses
   Treat as necessary.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Store in a cool, dry place.
