Composition
Purified cell free supernatant of Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica biotype A serotype 1/17 exotoxin Plus on reconstitution modified live IBR virus.

Indications
Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica vaccine for feedlot cattle, to be used in conjunction with infectious bovine rhinotraceheitis (IBR) modified live virus supplied in a separate vial labelled clearly: BOVI-TECT PI - IBR component. For optimum usage consult your veterinarian.

Warnings

  • FOR USE IN FEEDLOT CATTLE ONLY.
  • Destroy all vaccine containers after use.
  • Do not attempt to store partially used vaccine for later use.
  • Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
  • Although this vaccine has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

Directions For Use: USE ONLY AS DIRECTED

  • The combination vaccine is to be used IN FEEDLOT CATTLE ONLY.
  • The combined vaccine is intended to reduce morbidity and mortalities associated with IBR and Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica related pneumonia.
  • Use sterile needles and syringes.
  • Where chemical sterilisation of needles and syringes is practised, wash needles in clean water to ensure that the modified live virus component is not destroyed by the disinfectant.
  • Draw up 2-3 ml of the Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica component (large 100 ml bottle).
  • Inject into modified live IBR virus (glass vial), mix well by swirling the vial, aspirate contents and transfer back to the large 100 ml bottle.
  • Inject 1 ml per head subcutaneously using sterile precautions. Ensure that the vaccine is kept cool and from direct sunlight while administering. For optimum immune response two doses 10-14 days apart are recommended.

Dosage
1 ml per head of the combined vaccine administered subcutaneously.

Storage

  • Store in a refrigerator at 2 ºC to 8 ºC.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Protect from light.

100 ml , 10 ml Polypropylene bottle.
7 ml glass vial.
